Project Profile: Ripley's Believe It or Not!

LifeFormations designed and produced a series of interactive exhibits and related theming for Ripley’s Odditoriums around the world. Each interactive experience has been designed to engage a segment of the audience that may otherwise not fully appreciate the “Believe-it-or-not” artifacts presented in the odditoriums.
Maniacal Melodies - Interactive sound studio. Guests experiment with both the worlds 10 most beloved and offensive sound effects. The noises are generated over a background composition creating their own symphony.

Some of the interactives were designed to engage a younger audience looking for an explore-and-discover experience. In other instances, the interactives offer an individual or competitive challenge allowing a guest to compete against themselves or other guests. And in some cases, the interactives encourage a social interaction in which each guest could contribute to a larger shared experience or show.

Coordination station. Guests test their physical coordination by following prompts and cues from  the themed interactive.
An animatronic clown turns a crank putting a giant hand in motion beckoning guests.
Magic lamps: Guest touch the themed lamps releasing a video image of a genie. There is playful banter between the guests and the genies - the one on the screen and the others still in their lamps.
Warehouse video wall: Guest witness the shipping and receiving warehouse hub of the Ripley's Odditoriums. This serves as a pre-show to the facility. The host (a video image) welcomes visitors and informs them of the amazing attractions arriving at the facility.
